If the positions you want is not on the website, please be patient as it may appear in the near future. How many jobs can I apply for? Can I submit a ‘general application’? Yes. If there aren’t any current vacancies that suit you please send in a Resume and Cover Letter via email. It is our practice to keep Resumes for up to six months. Due to privacy concerns after that period of time we will destroy any applications not acted upon. You will be contacted if any positions come up which match your profile. What if I experience technical difficulties with my application? If you’re having problems apply for a position, check to see if your connection is working by visiting other websites. . We will try to solve the problem as quickly as possible. How will my application be processed? The steps used to review applications are as follows: - Applications are received and screened (occurs throughout the recruitment process), until the position is closed.
- Applicants who appear to match the position (as advertised) are contacted for a preliminary screening interview, usually conducted by phone. A description of the role is provided to gauge interest and/or match to the applicant’s skill set.
- Applicants who appear to closely match the position are invited to interview. This may be by phone or face to face. In some instances applicants are flown to the nearest Imdex office to meet with selected managers. NB: Applicants should come to interview prepared to discuss their salary and package expectations and any questions they have about the role.
- The preferred candidate’s referees are contacted for comment.
- The successful applicant is offered the role subject to any pre-employment checks, and provided with a Letter of Offer and Contract of Employment.
- Unsuccessful applicants are contacted that they have been unsuccessful. In some instances unsuccessful applicants who present well and who have skills and/or experience that may be of interest to the business are asked if the company may retain their Resume for six months, in the event that any other suitable roles emerge.
