The General Manager of each division or subsidiary company is responsible for focusing on the following optimisations to ensure environmental impact is minimal, within a safe and healthy workplace:

• A commitment to provide appropriate resources to implement the policy and to comply with legislative requirement;  
• Making health, safety and environmental considerations a priority in our planning and development of new products and processes;  
• Recognition that controlling health, safety and environmental risks contribute to business performance by preserving human and physical resources, reducing costs and liabilities;  
• Establishment and periodic review of measurable objectives and actual performance against the objectives; and
• Promotion of communications between interested parties to ensure health, safety and environmental protection becomes a collaborative effort that is integrated throughout the organisation.
